HuntFishSD.com was established in 2005. Demand for great pheasant hunting experiences was on the rise in Aberdeen and the Aberdeen Regional Airport was seeing historic numbers of outdoor enthusiasts visiting our area in search of a pheasant hunting experience like no other. With the Aberdeen area being a perennial leader in pheasant habitat production and harvest numbers, we needed a way to highlight the lodges, guides, and local outfitters (within 100 miles of Aberdeen) who were catering to these hunting hopefuls.
Our HuntFishSD partners help us promote the hunting resources and heritage of Aberdeen. We publicize our partners, and the outdoor opportunities available here through increased advertising efforts, promotional items, and exposure at big name travel shows like Pheasants Forever’s Pheasant Fest. We also utilize our partner lodges and outfitters to host outdoor media representatives, showing them, and the millions of viewers watching around the world, what Aberdeen has to offer when the leaves begin to fall. So far we have hosted notable shows like The Crush with Lee and Tiffany, Pheasants Forever’s The Flush and Rooster Tales TV along with media hunts featuring Pheasants Forever, Field and Stream, Outdoor Life, Covey Rise, and Ron Schara productions…the list goes on.
