HuntFishSD is made possible by the Aberdeen Area Convention and Visitors Bureau. The Aberdeen Area CVB’s purpose is to enhance the community’s economic success and enhance the quality of life through tourism, especially during pheasant hunting season. We work hand-in-hand with other great community organizations to showcase why Aberdeen is an exceptional place to live, work, hunt, and fish.
The Aberdeen Area Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) is a 501 (c) 6 organization incorporated September 4, 1992 in the State of South Dakota. The Aberdeen Area CVB’s annual budget, marketing plan, and work direction are reviewed by a volunteer Board of Directors. Funds for the Aberdeen Area CVB are allocated by the Aberdeen City Council from the City’s promotion tax collections (BBB). View our Public Disclosure Form.

Casey leads the implementation of Aberdeen CVB strategies and marketing initiatives that position the Aberdeen area as a premier destination for hunters, anglers, and visitors attending a wide range of events. Through targeted promotions and partnerships, Casey works to maximize economic impact, increase hotel occupancy, and expand media exposure for the region.
An avid hunter, Casey oversees all aspects of outdoor marketing efforts, including the Sportsman Coop and HuntFishSD.com, connecting visitors with hunting opportunities, outdoor experiences, and local businesses. With more than 35 years of sales and customer service experience, Casey brings extensive knowledge, industry relationships, and a passion for promoting Aberdeen as a destination. Casey has proudly served with the Aberdeen Area CVB for more than 21 years.
