Location
Aberdeen is easily accessible by car or by air. Aberdeen is a pleasant 80-mile drive from Interstate 29 along Highway 12, and is at the intersection of U.S. highways 12 and 281. Highway 12 has currently been expanded to a four-lane highway to make traveling easier.

Traveling by Airplane
If traveling by commercial airline, you will arrive at the Aberdeen Regional Airport via Delta Airlines. The newly constructed terminal offers car rental from Hertz and Avis, with Dollar Thrifty car rental located nearby (in Aberdeen Flying Service). The terminal also features convenient long- and short-term parking, drink / snack machines and a comfortable waiting area with HDTV.

For private pilots or chartered aircraft, the Aberdeen Regional Airport has three fixed base operators (FBOs) that offer refueling services, aircraft rentals, charter flights and repair services with fully licensed airframe and power plant mechanics.  Quest Aviation also provides charter services.
