Aberdeen Community Theatre

Aberdeen Community Play House Performance
(ACT) is dedicated to improving and enriching Aberdeen and the area one show at a time, by fostering growth and development of theater arts and film in northeast South Dakota. ACT is at home in the Capitol Theatre – a 450-seat renovated 1926 vaudeville/movie house on Aberdeen’s historic Main Street. We are more than 1,700 members strong, have 300+ volunteers annually and present five mainstage and three youth productions. Under its Capitol Cinema programming, ACT screens films between live theater performances.
